Hymn of the Champions

A new official anthem will accompany the teams and supporters in the EHF Champions League for the new season. Different versions of the anthem, Hymn of the Champions, will be played in the halls during the entry ceremonies, used for the television intros and promotion trailers. The piece will have an influence on the entire competition this year.

The anthem has been composed for orchestra – performed in August by the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra, conducted by David Hernando. The composer, Roman Kariolou, chose to use this classical approach to convey strong emotions and create a unique atmosphere for the sport.
