Courses for EHF Delegates and Referees
The
6th EHF Regional Course for Handball Delegates
took place in Balatonfüred, Hungary, from 30 August
to 2 September 2007.

EHF delegates from 13 nations took part at the course organised on
the occasion of a club tournament in the town. The lecturers also
arrived from three different countries. The Danish Allan Lund,
Austrian Wolfgang Pollany and Hungarian Sándor Andorka passed on
their experience and knowledge to the delegates who will represent
the European Handball Federation at the upcoming European club and
national team competitions.
Referee Course
From 28 August to 3 September, an EHF Referee
Course was held in Zaporozhye, Ukraine, also
paralell to a club tournament. The lecturer of the course
was Frantisek Taborsky, who was joined by Stefan Jug and Vladimir
Ranick EHF Referee Mentors.
Six
referee couples, candidates for an EHF status, took physical tests
(Cooper test and shuttle runs) and theoretical exams (on handball
rules and competition regulations). The Competitions Commission
will bring the decision on their status at the end of September.
